BELINDA YUNG FOR CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR
My name is Belinda Yung. I am running for California Governor. I have retired since 2024.
I was born, raised, and educated in Hong Kong. I came to CA through the main gate in November 1984. I personally experienced the hardship to raise up two daughters after the divorce in 1999. Looking back the leadership in CA, the problems continue to rise.
I believe “Living Better, Brighter Future” is the right for every Californian who is living in CA. I am proud of you all surviving from the mismanagement and dysfunctions of the CA government.
The (1) budget crisis, (2) housing crisis, (3) homeless crisis, (4) at least 400,000 Californians on the waiting list for housing assistance, (5) lack of public housing to guarantee Californians’ right to have housing, and (6) the skyrocketing living costs have been lighted up the serious problems of the failed governor and his government, lack of leadership and vision.
Californians deserve the CHANGE: Living Better, Brighter Future. Californians deserve a better leader and I am that leader. Please vote for me as your next governor in 2026. I’ll prioritize Californians’ benefits in the midst of the nation’s interests. As your next governor, I’ll do: (1) AI/Digitalize the CA Government, (2) Right to Have Housing, (3) Healthcare Freedom, (4) the CA Dividends Under Our Feet, (5) Welcome Investors, (6) Welcome Trump’s Platinum and Gold Cards, (7) End Homelessness & Eviction, and (8) Legalize Prostitution.

My name is Belinda Yung. My Middle Name is Shek-Lai that’s a translation from the Chinese-Cantonese name. I was born in Hong Kong in January 1959. I lived in my grandparents’ crowded apartment. There was few private housing and no public housing available in the 50s’ and 60s’ in Hong Kong. My parents were lucky to move into the first public housing estate in 1966. I was raised in the public housing estate till my parents were separated when I was in the 7th grade. Growing up from the poverty and living in a basic decent apartment, we sometimes couldn’t afford to get grocery, but only rice. One of my biggest accomplishments was the Table Tennis Championship when I was 12-year old in my elementary school.
After high school graduation, I worked one year as private tutor; then decided to join the Nursing. I was graduated from the Enrolled Nurse Training School with full credential in 1983. I met my ex-husband through my cousin and one year later we got married. We got two lovely daughters who’re grown-up now, as our youngest daughter got married several years ago. We are happy to gain one son-in-law.

“LIVING BETTER, BRIGHTER FUTURE” by Belinda Yung, CA Governor Candidate 2026
1.) AI/Digitalize Government: save cost, prevent waste/fraud, cheaper fee, safer, convenient…and access anytime, no appointment, no phone call, no bringing your records to your government.
2.) Right to have housing: a basic human right, as no one guarantees to keep one job…Public housing, a basic apartment, green materials and renewable energy, is to solve the housing crisis, including homeless crisis (top priority). It’s one time build, zero maintenance, e.g. termite, or zero cost on SB326 or other effects. Public housing project is to guarantee Californians’ right to have housing. No matter what happens to him/er public housing is going to protect and preserve his/er past, present, and future.
3.) Healthcare freedom: CA is going to provide basic healthcare to every Californian/American, except the tourists or foreign visitors. Either free or low cost medicine is provided directly from the hospital/clinic, one of the plans.
4.) End Homelessness & Eviction: it takes the whole state to coordinate, communicate, and to implement. As your next governor, I have that plan.
5.) Welcome Investors: from domestic to foreign investors, with incentives; more jobs, more revenue.
6.) CA dividends under our feet. I guarantee free speech and help out the energy crisis, not just our state, but others, including at least 200 nations.
